Where We Work
Music as Therapy International originally worked only in Romania. Our roots will always lie there and we have an ongoing commitment to invest 15% of our resources into futher developing music therapy with our Local Partners all around Romania. However, in recent years we have found more and more music therapists are getting involved in overseas work in unusual contexts and they have often been interested to learn from our experiences. This has led us to expand our remit beyond solely working in Romania. In recent years music therapists working in Rwanda, Bethlehem and Palestine, Slovenia, Bosnia i Herzegovina, Uganda, Sudan, India, Georgia and Belarus have been in touch with us for different levels of consultancy or information sharing.
