Continuing Professional Development Seminar (London)

Posted in Projects on 3rd September 2013

This year's CPD Day - Daring to Innovate - will take place in London on Saturday 16th November. A range of presentations will frame discussions about how demands of commissioning, clinical practice and service development increasingly require music therapists to be innovators and can pull us out of our ‘comfort zones’. It is an opportunity for therapists working in all contexts to hear how our presenters have dared to innovate within schools, music therapy training, the NHS and beyond. Their starting point has been overseas work with Music as Therapy International, but the ways in which this has influenced on their practice here in the UK varies. Participants will be invited to use the presentations detailed below as a starting point for discussions about areas of innovative practice that they are considering, actively developing or even questioning.
