Our Distance Learning Course increases the reach of Music Therapy programmes in Romania

Posted in Projects on 5th February 2014

We are always working to deliver projects that share skills with local staff in ways that are locally transferable and sustainable. We have found our ‘Distance Learning Programme’, a course which is accessed by staff in Romania, to be an effective way of sharing skills. One student fed back the following, which highlights just how ‘long term’ the ‘short term’ input of Music as Therapy International can be: “I had a lot of positive experiences, starting with the three children's joy every time we were starting a session, the positive way in which they responded to the programme, the progress they made, even though they were small. But the biggest satisfaction was that this course allowed me to apply for funding that is going to make possible the continuation of music therapy programme with other children” Distance Learning graduate
