We are seeking to appoint a Team Assistant who will work across the whole organisation, providing support with the charity’s administration, project co-ordination, fundraising, marketing and research at both an organisational level, and in relation to specific projects. This exciting role will give real insight into the workings of a small charity, the third sector, international development and fundraising. Please see the Job Description for full details.
We are looking for a confident and mature individual, who brings proven communication and organisational skills, as well as a willingness to learn (a detailed Person Specification is included in the Job Description). The successful candidate will enjoy being at the heart of the charity, contributing to the effective delivery of all our projects in the UK and overseas. We are a small team with an ethos of good will and peer support and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues, as well as independently. A positive outlook and creative problem-solving skills are important, as is a charitable mindset (the understanding that everything we do and all the associated costs is focused on having a positive impact on the quality of life for vulnerable children and adults).
The role is based in our office at the Oval (SW9 6BG) and is a part-time appointment (4 days per week). The starting salary is £20,800 pro rata, which includes 6 weeks’ paid holiday.
