Locally-Led Training in Rwanda

Posted in Projects on 1st December 2020

After a long year of planning and waiting for the right time, our Local Trainers (Audace, Alphonsine and Fidele) in Rwanda were finally able to deliver a training where they shared their skills of using music with 22 staff from 11 care settings. We are extremely pleased to have supported and given guidance to our Local Trainers, especially after a challenging year where our Partners also encountered a lockdown. What a fantastic way to end 2020!

This is the first series of Locally-Led Training events our Local Trainers have delivered and 2 more are scheduled to take place in 2021 where we should see an additional of 32 participants from 16 other care settings also develop new music skills. We are looking forward to the next training events. Well done to Audace, Fidele and Alphonsine!
