  • Thank you Worldfirst

We are really grateful to the fantastic foreign exchange company Worldfirst who nominated us to be their Charity of the Month and beneficiary of the tombola held at their recent Christmas Fair.  I've just paid in a very welcome cheque for £120.  Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket!

  • Battle of the Law Firms

Royal London Group are brilliant!  On Monday night they organised a fiercely competitive Pub Quiz with half the proceeds pledged to us (the other half went to the Spitalfields Crypt Trust, an equally deserving cause).  The evening sounded great fun and the funds it raised will be a huge help to us.

  • Charity of the Year!

We are delighted to announce that, with over 500 votes, Music as Therapy International has been successful in becoming Charity of the Year 2011 for the company Paritor.  Thank you all - and Paritor's clients too - for voting and to Paritor for pledging their support to us in the coming year.  We will keep you all up to date with what this means as the partnership unfolds!

  • Soroptimist International (Epsom)

I was made very welcome by the Epsom and District branch of Soroptimist International last week, when I attended one of their meetings to talk about our work.  The kind donation they made will be a great help towards the Distance Learning Course for Romanian Care Staff which starts in January.  The online tutorials will be supported by an Intensive Study Weekend and a Practical Placement, at the end of which participants will be ready to run music programmes to benefit young children with disabilities.  We are excited to see students already registering!
