Music as Therapy International may sound grand, but the reality is a small registered charity with a team of dedicated part-time staff and grateful reliance on a number of incredible volunteers. We really do work very hard to make the benefits of music therapy more widely available across the world. BUT, we can only continue to do this, with your help. This part of our website gives details of the different ways you can support us. Please take time to look through and see if there is something here that you could do for us.

CURRENT NEED: External Accountant to Review our Annual Accounts: Every charity that has an income of below £500,000 (definitely us!) is required to submit an Independent Examiner's Report on its Annual Accounts to the Charity Commission. We are currently looking for a generous-spirited accountant who would be willing to do this for us on a voluntary basis. Our experience is that this is about one day's work and requires looking over our annual accounts, reviewing our cashbook and verifying the larger entries. Occasional Translation Out of respect and to ensure we can communicate as clearly as possible, we always like to communicate with our Local Partners in their mother tongue. We are currently looking for an Arabic speaker who would be prepared to show their support of our work by translating the occasional email both from English or into English. Hopefully our website may have inspired you about the work of Music as Therapy International and the creative ways that we raise money for our activities in Romania and elsewhere. Perhaps you\'d like to organise an event yourself to raise money for us. Whatever your idea we\'d love to hear about it.
We have all the materials you\'d need to promote the event and - if at all possible - one of us will come along to join in, or make a presentation if required. We also have a long list of supporters who could well be enthusiastic participants in whatever you are planning. Send us an email if you\'d like to work with us to plan a fundraising event.
