Events

We do not have any more events coming up this year.  Please keep an eye on this page for future announcements.

Meanwhile you might be interested to read about the events which have taken place in 2009:

On June 14th 2009 some dedicated dancers kicked up their heels at the Viva Viva Blues night held at Viva Viva bar and restaurant in Hornsey. Thank you to all those who came down and supported!

Earlier in the year Neil Robbie ran the Flora London Marathon for Music as Therapy International and raised £3,505 and Jessica Wolpert completed the Mazda Blenheim Triathlon,  raising £1,047 for our work. Huge thanks go to both these energetic, sporty people who have made such a large contribution towards our work this year.

Music as Therapy International has experience in helping individuals prepare for fundraising events like the above and can provide sponsorship packs, fundraising ideas and support. Please send us an email if you’re interested in taking part in a similar event in the future.

Schools' Link
Music as Therapy International is actively involved in a variety of collaborations with Schools, which come under the umbrella of our Schools' Link programme.

If you know a school holding a concert or looking for a charity to support over the coming year, do get in touch.  We are always excited to form new partnerships and to talk to students of all ages about our work in Romania and elsewhere, or about music therapy as a possible career, to organise musical competitions to suit all ages and to hold interactive musical workshops - where students can experience for themselves the ways in which music can be used to facilitate communication in a different way.

We appreciate the school calendar is always jam-packed and so we are determined to work as hard as the students and staff at our partnerships.  Let us know what we can do in exchange for your support.

Send us an email or telephone Jane Robbie on 020 7735 3231 if you'd like to talk about the Schools' Link.
