Collaborating again with Nick at Southbrae Digital for this project, our investment in Music Helps (India) marks an exciting and timely development for the course. Four years on from its pilot in Hyderabad, over 400 caregivers have since accessed the training, across India and beyond, providing accessible musical tools and techniques to support the care of people living with dementia.

“The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. The caregivers have reported that the techniques learned [through Music Helps] have strengthened their relationships with elders, and they are already integrating music into their daily routines. This approach has been both therapeutic for residents and uplifting for the staff’s own well-being.”

Now we want to build on this traction. Migrating Music Helps (India) to our own platform will boost its visibility, enabling us to extend its reach among many more care settings, families, musicians, and practitioners. Integrating the course into our own training platform also means we can ensure every element is fully translated across all three supported languages, improving the experience for Hindi and Telugu learners. We will also strengthen the stewarding support throughout the course, so learners feel guided at every step, while making the overall journey simpler and more intuitive.

We hope the course will be fully launched on our new platform by Spring 2026. Watch this space for further updates!

In the meantime, Music Help (India) will remain free and available in its current form, offered in English, Hindi, and Telugu.
