10 caregivers in Romania will be starting our 2023 Distance Learning Programme today, ready to explore the ways in which music can benefit the children in their care.

There was interaction between the group members: the children related to each other, made eye contact, there were moments of euphoria, but also moments of concentration and listening

Distance Learning Programme student, 2022

Did you realise that music can ignite connections between a group of children? Did you know that music can also help form deeper relationships between a child and their caregiver?

Music is a powerful and universal tool that can be used by children with disabilities to communicate and express their emotions. If used in the right way, it can reduce a child’s anxiety, increase their confidence and improve their social skills.
