Music therapists are well-placed and well-trained to ensure people get the musical intervention, activity or opportunity that is the best fit for them along the whole dementia journey. This may include music therapy sessions, singing sessions, such as Singing for the Brain, planning playlists such as Playlists for Life, and training carers to use music in every day care.

We are looking forward to our contribution to the forthcoming CPD Event exploring all of this: Music Therapy in Dementia Care – Broadening music therapy approaches. The event is supported by Anglia Ruskin University and the Utley Foundation and will be held at the Jerome Booth Music Therapy Centre (Anglia Ruskin University) on Wednesday 13th March (Tickets: £25).
