Makeda joined Music as Therapy International in 2018 as the Team Assistant before progressing to International Programme Coordinator, and then the International Programme Manager. Makeda’s responsibilities largely involved working closely alongside the charity’s international Partners in the coordination, development, delivery and evaluation of all activities overseas, whilst applying her international development mindset. In Makeda’s free time, she enjoys dabbling in dance where she can freely express herself in movement to music.

Having worked for MasT for 8 years I have knowledgeable insight and understanding of the charity’s operations and activities that fulfil a cause that has grown dearly to me.  I am honoured and delighted to be able to draw on my experiences along with my international development background to support the organisation in a new way, now as a Trustee.
