Over the years, we have seen how much more impactful training can be when it happens as part of a wider team effort. When managers and colleagues support one another, caregivers are 150% more likely to complete the course and gain those incredible skills. By championing the efforts of these settings and managers, we hope to inspire further collaboration and partnership across the sector.

Although Friends of Music Helps began during Dementia Action Week, this is only the beginning. In the months and years ahead, we will continue welcoming new Friends, growing this community of organisations that are investing in compassionate, relationship-focussed care. We want this initiative to be an ongoing celebration of the teams making space for creativity, learning, and meaningful human connection within dementia care. So, continue to look out for new members of this growing list!

To all of our current Friends of Music Helps, we appreciate and applaud your work. Together, let’s spread the word and use our shared enthusiasm to help integrate music into the culture of dementia care.
