We recently shared news of an exciting development for our Interactive Music-Making programme, with the launch of a new Associate model. This sees us establishing working partnerships with a number of Music Therapy and Early Years organisations, which will deliver the Interactive Music-Making programme alongside us.

Our Associate organisations will strengthen our teaching, bringing contemporary expertise, while also expanding the potential to enable more children to benefit from the targeted, early intervention Interactive Music-Making can offer.

We are incredibly pleased to welcome Nordoff Robbins as the latest Associate organisation to join our Interactive Music-Making programme.

Nordoff Robbins is the UK’s largest music therapy charity, with an approach shaped by more than 60 years of practice. Their vision is to live in a world where through music therapy, people’s true potential is realised regardless of disability, illness, or exclusion. Working one-to-one or with small groups, their therapists create a platform for people to express themselves and share a connection.

Nordoff Robbins join our existing Interactive Music-Making Associates, Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, North London Music Therapy CIC, and Quaggy Development Trust.

Our current cohort of Interactive Music-Making students have already benefitted from guest teaching contributions from our Associate organisations, and we are excited to see how our growing number of Associate organisations will further enhance the programme’s impact.
