Dr Hannah Reid is a scientist and a researcher with more than 20 years of experience working on development and climate change in some of the world’s most vulnerable countries. She has published four books and numerous journal articles, briefing papers for policy makers and training materials. Hannah now lives in the UK after living in South Africa for several years. You can read Hannah’s story here.

Drawing on her international development expertise, Hannah has particular responsibility for overseeing the activities delivered by the charity and supporting the team in their development and delivery.

I bring experience from over 20 years of working to support vulnerable communities in some of the world’s poorest countries to guide planning and implementation for the charity, especially as it now has a broad base of countries in which it operates. Given my long history in the development sector, I also hope to provide useful insights into relevant internal institutional issues and outreach strategies.
