Provision of a series of lectures across one week, introducing pyschology undergraduates at the Facultatea de Stiinte, Universitatea “Lucian Blaga” (Sibiu) to the clinical practice of music therapy.

A 6-week introductory training project provided to teachers working with hearing impaired children at the Scoala Pentru Surzi in Vaslui, since re-named Centrul Scolar pentru Educatie Incluzive C-tin Pufan.

We returned to spend one week with our partners at Centrul Scolar de Educatie Incluziva Nr.1 (Bistrita) and Centru de Recuperare pentru Copii cu Handicap (Bistrita) to support their continued use of music following our introductory training the previous year. Sharing successes, developing practice and troubleshooting.

We returned to our partners at the Day Centre ‘Pentru Voi’, the Centru de Art-Terapie ‘Eliza Ionescu’ and the Centru de Educatie Speciala si Recuperare Speranta (Timisoara). This visit was to provide supervision for team members in relation to their current practice, to provide additional training in response to requests from the team and to nurture a local network through which our partners might support each other’s work with music.

We facilitated local conference for people interested to share and learn about using music to benefit children and adults with additional needs in and around Techirghiol.

We convened a local area network meeting for our partners to meet and share experiences of using music to benefit people with additional needs in Bihor.

A six-week training project provided to teachers and educators at a special school in Bistrita (since re-named Centrul Scolar de Educatie Incluziva Nr.1) and, in partnership with the Fundatia Inocenti, at the Centru de Recuperare pentru Copii cu Handicap.

In response to local request our team provided introductory training workshops to staff working at the Scoala Speciala and Camin Spital in Beclean.

We returned to spend one week with our partners at the Centru de Plasament ‘Sf. Spiridon’ (Botosani) and at the Complex de Servicii Sociale Comunitare (Beclean) to support their continued use of music following our introductory training the previous year.
