    The pilot delivery of Music Helps, our music in dementia care online training tool in India. This course was developed by music therapist and Advisory Panel member, Nina Cherla, in response to a project request from Pavithra Gangadharan, Founder of Kshetra Assisted Living by Heritage ElderCare Services Pvt. Ltd, to help make music an integral part of dementia care provision across care facilities and homes in India.

    Our 11th delivery of this Distance Learning course, which comprises a series of 7 monthly tutorials and written assignments, participation in an Intensive Study Weekend – hosted by Hospice Casa Sperantei in Brasov – and a supervised Practical Assignment.

    Our 10th delivery of this Distance Learning course, which comprises a series of 7 monthly tutorials and written assignments, participation in an Intensive Study Weekend – hosted by Centrul Scolar pentru Educatie Incluziva, Oradea – and a supervised Practical Assignment. Despite COVID disruptions, out students successfully completed their learning with us.

  • On-site skill-sharing: Moss Park (Fort William) 2020

    United Kingdom

    A second 6-week field project with Moss Park Care Home, a residental centre for elderly people in Fort William, many of whom live with dementia. We provided training to two new staff members, and top-up training to two further members of staff who had taken part in Moss Park’s first introductory training project (2016), to introduce and sustain the use of music within the care and activities of their residents.
