It’s now two months since the World Congress of Music Therapy in Bologna.  It was an amazing event which brought me together with our Romanian Distance Learning Programme Supervisor (Eleonora Rosca) and moderator (Monika Manases), our Georgian Distance Learning Programme Officer (Tako Jordania) and our Training and Innovation Co-ordinator (Elsa Hariades), pictured left to right.  It was the first time some of us had met and certainly the first time we had all been in one place!

Over more than 4 days, we all emersed ourselves in the global Music Therapy world, meeting old friends and making new ones, as we sought to champion the work of Music as Therapy International and make sure our own professional development – and the activities of Music as Therapy International – continues to evolve with the times.

In the coming days, we will share with you the personal reflections from Tako, Monika, Eli and Elsa so you too can see what  huge impact this opportunity had for us all.  The word cloud highlights the themes you will see running through their experiences.
