Following April’s Spring Newsletter, we’ve created the Autumn edition to focus in on one of our three key client groups: Adults with Learning Disabilities (ALD).

The number of Adults with Learning Disabilities is growing, and yet the evidence and resources for the use of music with this group is still lacking. This is why we created a new Evidence Base for the Use of Music with Adults with Learning Disabilities – the main feature of our newsletter. It also shares new activity ideas and Darren’s Story.

We also share our own news: new projects, new partners, our BBC Music Day involvement and the upcoming Radio 4 Appeal!

We’d love to hear your feedback, or your stories, so please do get in touch: freyagibbs@musicastherapy.org. If you’re a partner who would like to sign up please email the same address and we will send you a free pair of MasT egg shakers for your music sessions.
