• Interactive Music-Making Course in Greenwich

We are delighted to have the involvement of Music as Therapy International Advisory Panel Members Emma Penketh and Emily Cawdron, and Judith Nockolds, Nicky O'Neill and Linda Mitchell from the Greenwich Community Health Services Music Therapy Department developing and delivering the teaching for the Interactive Music-Making Course in Greenwich, piloting in September 2010.  Obviously the course content was defined a while back, but we are excited to see the teaching materials coming together now.  Course Leader, Sarah Hadley, has been successfully recruiting potential students and we must extend our thanks to Oli Seitikovska of Greenwich Community Health Services for all experienced steering and support.  Do look here for more information.

  • Training in Timisoara

Music as Therapy International are pleased to be able to deliver a two day training to staff at the Art Therapy centre in Timisoara in June 2010. This training will focus on using music with visually impaired clients. The Art Therapy Centre were recipients of a six-week Introductory Music Therapy Training Project in 1999, and we’re delighted to be able to support the ongoing development of their music programme which has been going for over ten years now!  Music Therapist Julia Serebriakov will deliver the training on 25th – 26th June 2010, supported by MasT International’s Administrator, Cleo Jordan.
