As our new strategy outlines, over the next three years a key goal of ours is to inspire more people, and raise awareness of the role music can play in strengthening care.

One of the ways we are doing this is to explore different ways we can introduce ourselves to new and broader audiences. So, when we got the chance to put our director, Alexia forward as a storyteller for OneTrackMinds, we made the most of the opportunity.

We’re excited to say our pitch was successful, so next month Alexia will be telling her story of a song that changed her life for OneTrackMinds.

The event will be held at 7.30pm on Wednesday 12 April at Wilton’s Music Hall in London.

An entertaining cross between Desert Island Discs, The Moth Radio Hour & TED Talks, OneTrackMinds is a live storytelling event which explores the transformative power of music. Watch their video trailer to give you an idea of what the storytelling events are like.

Excitingly, we’re also in discussion with OneTrackMinds to run our own charity event night later this year. Want to stay up to date with our progress in the months to come? Sign up to our Key Notes newsletter.

In the meantime, to hear Alexia’s story live, you can buy tickets from the Wilton’s Music Hall website.
