Our second CPD Event for UK Music Therapists was delivered in London, designed to promote good practice within international development.

We convened a 2-day CPD Event in London, designed for music therapists interested to share experiences of using music therapy within the context of international development.

Guest lecture to students on the Masters in Music Therapy course at the Nordoff Robbins Centre, with a focus on skill-sharing as a technique for music therapists to extend the reach of their work and responsible international development practice.

Provision of a series of lectures across one week, introducing pyschology undergraduates at the Facultatea de Stiinte, Universitatea “Lucian Blaga” (Sibiu) to the clinical practice of music therapy.

We facilitated local conference for people interested to share and learn about using music to benefit children and adults with additional needs in and around Techirghiol.

We convened a local area network meeting for our partners to meet and share experiences of using music to benefit people with additional needs in Bihor.

Co-wrote and presented a paper with one of our Local Partners from Ungureni (Romania) entitled, “A Combination of Expertise: A UK-Romanian Partnership Develops the Use of Music Therapy In Institutions” at the First International Congress of Music Therapy and Recreative Medicine in the 21st Century, Moscow .
