Romania: Distance Learning Programme 2019-20

Posted in Projects on 31st January 2019

It is always exciting in January, when we welcome our next group of students onto the Distance Learning Programme we run in Romania. The course is designed to equip people already working with young children with disabilities, with the theoretical understanding, tools, activities and experience they need to run therapeutic music sessions themselves.

We are pleased to have 11 practitioners from Constanta, Iasi, Bucharest, Brasov, Ramnicu-Valcea and Cluj enrolled this year who will be taking their learning into special schools, day centres, clinics and a hospice around the country. They will be ably supported through the course by Monika Szabo, Magda Pata and Cathy Rowland, and we will meet them in person when we deliver the 2-Day Intensive Study Weekend in March. Good luck to them all!
