From helping our team in our office, to delivering projects overseas, there are a number of ways you can help us by volunteering your time and skills.
Volunteering on field projects:
Each of our field projects is led by a professional music therapist, typically accompanied by a volunteer assistant keen to gain experience of delivering an international music therapy project. If you'd like to be notified when we're next recruiting volunteers for upcoming field projects, please click here.
We deliver projects every year with new opportunities arising all the time. We are always keen to hear from music therapists interested in delivering a project to share their skills with others.
You may be a musician, training to become a music therapist or someone who has a particular interest in international development, but anyone can volunteer their time to help deliver one of our field projects.
We may not have a suitable project in the pipeline right now, but if you click here and complete the form, we will add you to our volunteer database and keep you updated on any future projects we are planning.
If you would like to know a bit more about volunteering on a project abroad, please feel free to get in touch.
Volunteering in the UK
We don't currently have any opportunities for volunteers to join our projects in the UK, but we are always eager for volunteers to help us behind the scenes. If you would like to get work experience working for a small charity, we are always open to people willing to volunteer their time with office duties and helping to manage fundraising events. Click here to send us an email.
We have 20 years’ worth of documentary film and impact figures and are always looking for better ways to present our work and its impact. If you are a filmmaker, have experience editing film, or a designer who could create infographics for us, we’d love to hear from you. Click here to get in touch.
